Travel Inn’s history began in 1985 with the creation of Results Hotelaria, a company initially dedicated to providing advisory, consulting, and commercial representation services for hotels and flats.
Later, Results launched the Travel Inn brand, expanding its scope of operations and focusing on the administration, commercial management, and leasing of Hotels, Inns, Flats, and Resorts.
Our Founder
In addition to being the founder and president of Results, the Portuguese executive João Manuel Nunes Taveira da Gama also holds prominent positions in the hospitality sector: he is Financial Vice President of FOHB (Brazilian Hotel Operators Forum), Vice President of the Brazilian Hotel Industry Association (ABIH-SP), and a member of the Board of the National Tourism Confederation (CNTUR).
His career in hospitality began in 1970 in South Africa, where he specialized in the luxury market and worked for 10 years. He holds a degree in Hotel Management from Glion sur Montreux, Switzerland, and is fluent in Portuguese, English, and French. During his international career, he worked at hotels such as Tollman Towers Hotel and Crest Hotel in Johannesburg, as well as Elephant Hills Country Club, a luxury property.
In 1975, he was invited by a French hotel group (now the Accor Group) to move to Brazil, where he participated in the opening of Novotel hotels. He worked for 12 years in various managerial roles within the group and led the opening and management of units in São Paulo, Campinas, Limeira, São José dos Campos, Manaus, Natal, and Vitória.
He also served as Director of the Plaza Inn Hotel chain, General Manager of the Hotel Nacional in Rio de Janeiro, and as a professor of Hotel Management at Anhembi Morumbi University.
In 1985, he founded Results Hotel Administration and Advisory Services.
